If you want the short version .... I could say EVERYTHING! (I laugh all the time ... it's a hobby of mine.) :)

Easy. - Steak and potatoes!

Writes letters/notes/facebook messages/e-mails of encouragement
Gives hugs (to those very few, lucky people) ;)
Goes to lunch, meets them at their house to chat, finds opportunities to work in ministry with them or simply be around them .....
Buys/makes gifts for them
... Yeah ... I think those are the main ways. :)
